Baby Injured in Accident on Highway 110 in Smith County, Ashlee Harwood Dies

 
SMITH COUNTY, TX (September 26, 2022) – Police identified Ashlee Harwood as the victim who died in a red-light accident on Highway 110 on September 21.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Mixon Road.
 
Based on a report, Harwood was driving a 2004 Jaguar north on Mixon at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, she ran a red light and collided with a 2020 Ford F-150.
 
As a result, 38-year-old Harwood of Troup died at the scene.
 
The three occupants of the truck – including a 1-year-old infant – suffered injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported the victims to a local hospital for treatment.
 
As of now, an investigation is underway. However, there are no other details available.
