Armando Yglecias, Joy Yglecias and Albert Yglecias Identified in Fatal Lynn County Crash

 
LYNN COUNTY, TX (August 17, 2023) – 67-year-old Armando Yglecias, 67-year-old Joy Yglecias, 64-year-old Albert Yglecias, and a 17-year-old girl died in a crash on Highway 380 on August 6.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near FM 179 around 2:33 PM. Based on a report, the victims were in a pickup truck that was traveling west on the highway prior to the crash.
 
At the same time, a car was traveling north on FM 179. Due to unknown reasons, the truck disregarded the stop sign at the intersection and collided with the car.
 
As a result, the victims suffered grave injuries and died in the incident.
 
A fifth passenger in the truck, 57-year-old Michelle Yglecias, was flown to UMC in Lubbock with critical injuries.
 
Crews took the driver of the car to UMC in Lubbock with unspecified injuries. They also transported a 1-year-old child to Covenant Children’s in Lubbock with minor injuries.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
