Anuar Rodriguez Dead after Fort Worth Car Accident

 
FORT WORTH, TX (December 1, 2024) — An 18-year-old identified as Anuar Rodriguez died in a car accident on Sunday, November 17.
 
The Forth Worth Police Department said the accident occurred on Decatur Avenue near Beaumont Street at about 2:30 a.m. Sunday.
 
Officers responded to the scene and discovered an SUV crashed into a tree on Decatur Avenue. Investigators said the vehicle traveled northbound. Then when it went off the roadway and crashed into a tree near a small house.
 
They also found an 18-year-old person dead in the vehicle. They later identified the deceased as Rodriguez. He graduated in May from Diamond Hill Jarvis High School.
 
Meanwhile, officers also extricated two others from the vehicle with critical injuries. Paramedics transported them to the hospital. Their identities were not immediately available.
 
Police say speed may have contributed as a factor in the accident.
