Anthony Rivera Identified in Fatal Crash on West Harmon Avenue in Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS, NV (March 3, 2025) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department identified 43-year-old Anthony Angel Rivera who died in a crash on West Harmon Avenue on February 25.
According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened near Polaris Avenue just before 5:00 AM. Based on a report, Rivera was driving a Cadillac Escalade utility vehicle westbound in the far left travel lane on Harmon Road at a high rate of speed.
At the same time, a Toyota Corolla sedan was traveling in front of the Cadillac. Due to unknown reasons, Rivera failed to slow down and struck the Toyota. The Cadillac then traveled to the right and began to overturn while continuing west, striking a dump truck. In the end, the vehicle struck the rear of a Ford F-550 flatbed truck.
As a result, Rivera suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
Although he was not at fault, officers arrested the driver of the Toyota on suspicion of impairment at the scene.
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
