Angeline Gama Identified in Fatal Wortham Accident on CR 1001
WORTHAM, TX (May 28, 2024) – Officials identified 23-year-old Angeline Gama who died in an accident on CR 1001 on May 15.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash at Highway 14 around 4:00 PM. Based on a report, Gama was driving a Honda Pilot eastbound on CR 1001 at the time of the crash.
As she was crossing the railroad tracks, a train struck her SUV.
As a result, Gama suffered grave injuries and died in the incident.
Her two child passengers, a 6-year-old and a 3-year-old, had possible injuries. Emergency crews transported them to Baylor Scott and White in Waco.
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
