Angelica Lepiz Dies after Fresno County DUI Crash on Manning Avenue

 
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (November 16, 2022) — 31-year-old Angelica Lepiz of Orange Cove died while a man was hurt in an alleged DUI crash on Manning Avenue on Friday, November 11.

The fatal incident occurred east of Porter Avenue around midnight, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Authorities said a Toyota sedan, driven by Lepiz who traveled with a man and two children, ended up overturning into an orange grove.

Lepiz died at the scene.

The 29-year-old male passenger survived with moderate injuries and received treatment at a Reedley hospital.

The two-year-old boy and four-year-old girl were not injured due to the proper use of car seats.

CHP suspected that Lepiz had driven the Toyota under the influence.

However, the crash is still under investigation.
