Galvin Sexton Killed in Midland Truck Accident

 
MIDLAND, TX (November 16, 2022)Gavin Sexton died in a truck accident along Farm-to-Market 1788 on Wednesday, November 9.

According to the Department of Public Safety, the crash occurred around 12:20 p.m., 5 miles west of Midland.

According to their investigation, a 2017 Mack Truck with a trailer was heading south when a northbound 2019 Nissan Altima swerved into its path and collided head-on.

The Nissan driver, identified as 23-year-old Sexton of Kentucky, lost control of his speed, police say.

Sexton succumbed to his injuries and later died.

Responders transported the Mack truck driver to the Midland Memorial Hospital and now in stable condition.

DPS will continue their investigation.
