Aspen Hart, Angela Hart Killed in Car Crash in Franklin County

 
FRANKLIN COUNTY, WA (October 26, 2023) – Officers identified 50-year-old Angela Hart and 18-year-old Aspen Hart of Kennewick who died in a crash on Crestloch Road on October 15.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at Highway 395. Based on a report, Angela Hart was driving west on Crestloch Road prior to the crash.
 
At the same time, a truck was heading northbound on Highway 395. Due to unknown reasons, Hart failed to yield to oncoming traffic, causing a crash with the truck.
 
As a result, Angela Hart and her passenger, Aspen Hart, sustained grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
The occupants of the truck, Madeline Johnson and Andre Kaupp, were both taken to the hospital.
 
Neither drugs nor alcohol were factors in the crash.
 
At this point, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
