Knife-Wielding Angel Moreno Arrested after Stabbing and Running Over Motorists in Dallas
DALLAS, TX (August 20, 2024) – Dallas Police arrested 26-year-old Angel Moreno following an accident that led to an attack on 635 Freeway on August 6.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened between the Greenville Avenue and Forest Lane exits around 7:15 AM. Based on a report, Moreno and several drivers got involved in a crash.
The chaos escalated when the suspect engaged in a violent altercation with another driver. He then stabbed one person with a knife and hit two others with his car.
As a result, multiple people suffered injuries, including a driver who suffered critical injuries from stab wounds. Dallas Fire-Rescue transported a total of three victims to local hospitals.
Several bystanders were able to hold Moreno down until Police arrived. Officers later arrested him on multiple charges, including seven counts of aggravated assault, two counts of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and one count of criminal mischief. He is being held in the Dallas County Jail on a $901,500 bond.
