Alyia Khalid, Haley Taylor, and 6-Year-Old Die, Seven Injured in Richardson Multi-Vehicle Accident

 
RICHARDSON, TX (November 13, 2024)Alyia Khalid and a mother and daughter died in a multi-vehicle accident on Thursday, October 31.
 
According to Richardson Police Department, the crash occurred at about 11:55 p.m. on the 3400 block of Highway 75 near President George Bush Turnpike.
 
Richardson police said a Lexus SUV crashed into the back of a Cadillac SUV that stalled in the southbound HOV lane. After that, a Dodge car hit the first two vehicles. The impact of the collision led to another crash involving a Nissan sedan and an 18-wheeler.
 
While the two collisions happened, the driver and six passengers in the Cadillac stood outside the vehicle. One passenger, identified as 19-year-old Alyia Khalid, died at the scene. Her loved ones set up a GoFundMe to help her family.
 
Meanwhile, paramedics transported the driver and four other passengers of the Cadillac to a hospital for treatment of sustained injuries. Another passenger was not hurt.
 
Paramedics also brought the driver of the Lexus, 27-year-old Haley Taylor, and her 6-year-old daughter to a medical center. However, both succumbed to their injuries and died.
 
Emergency responders also transported the driver and passenger of the Dodge to a hospital with minor injuries.
 
The drivers of the Nissan and the 18-wheeler did not sustain any injuries.
