Marilyn Rodriguez Killed in Wrong-Way Crash in Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS, NV (November 13, 2024) – The Clark County Medical Examiner identified 18-year-old Marilyn Rodriguez who died in a wrong-way crash on 11 Freeway on October 25.
According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened in the northbound lanes shortly before 3:00 AM. Based on a report, Rodriguez was a passenger in a vehicle traveling southbound in the northbound lanes before the crash.
Subsequently, the vehicle crashed into another car.
As a result, Rodriguez suffered grave injuries and died in the incident.
Emergency crews took several other people to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.
Crews also shut the northbound lanes of the freeway for several hours.
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
