Alexander Salazar-Acevedo Identified in Fatal Tucson Crash on Park Avenue

 
TUCSON, AZ (February 28, 2023) – Officers identified 20-year-old Alexander Salazar-Acevedo as the victim who died in a car crash on Park Avenue on February 21.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Benson Highway. Based on a report, Salazar-Acevedo was driving near the intersection at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a pickup truck hit his car.
 
Subsequently, the Tucson Police Department said the victim refused hospitalization. He told officers he would go to the hospital with family at a later time. However, he passed away days later.
