Carmen Blanquetochoa, Alexander Cervantes Hurt in Douglas County Car Accident

 
DOUGLAS COUNTY, WA (July 14, 2023) – Officers identified 20-year-old Alexander Cervantes of Morrow, Georgia and 60-year-old Carmen Blanquetochoa of Quincy who suffered injuries in a head-on crash on Highway 28 on July 5.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at about 3:30 PM. Based on a report, Cervantes was driving a 2008 Ford Focus toward Quincy at the time of the crash.
 
At the same time, 46-year-old Jermaine Allen of Cashmere was driving a 2002 Ford Explorer headed toward East Wenatchee. Due to unknown reasons, Allen sustained a blown tire, crossed the center line, and hit Cervantes’ Focus.
 
As a result, Cervantes and Blanquetochoa sustained injuries. Crews took them to Confluence Health Hospital Central Campus with injuries.
 
Allen was not hurt in the crash.
