Alex Garcia Arrested after Fatal DUI Accident on J Street and Cartmill Avenue [Tulare, CA]

Alex Garcia Detained in Tulare DUI Crash

 
TULARE, CA (March 2, 2023) – Alex Garcia was arrested after he struck and killed a man in a DUI crash on J Street and Cartmill Avenue on Monday.

According to the Tulare Police Department, the fatal collision occurred around 3:50 p.m. Based on reports, a vehicle was speeding in the area and ran a red light.

As a result, it crashed into another vehicle. Authorities identified the driver of the first vehicle as 31-year-old Garcia.

The 37-year-old driver of the second vehicle succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene.

At this point, Garcia is facing charges of felony DUI, voluntary manslaughter, and other outstanding warrants, including a previous DUI.
