Alan Tienda and Sandra Sanchez Identified in Dallas Car Crash

 
DALLAS, TX (November 1, 2023) – Officials identified Alan Tienda and his wife, Sandra Sanchez, who suffered injuries in a hit-and-run crash on East Kiest Boulevard and South Marsalis Avenue on October 13.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at approximately 3:00 PM. Based on a report, the couple was driving near the intersection when a gray 2012 Ford F-150 T-boned their vehicle.
 
After the initial impact, the truck was sent crashing into another car. Subsequently, 41-year-old Gilberto Salas Guerra, the driver of the truck, fled the scene.
 
As a result, the impact left the couple unconscious. Crews responded and transported them to the hospital for treatment. In addition, crews also treated three people in the third vehicle at the scene.
 
Dallas police arrested Guerra with 2 counts of failure to stop and render aid. He’s currently in the Dallas County Jail being held on a $50,000 bond.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
