Two Killed, Adrian Gonzalez Arrested in Hit-and-Run on Turf Road in El Paso

 
EL PASO, TX (February 28, 2024) – The El Paso County Sheriff’s deputies arrested 30-year-old Adrian James Gonzalez after a fatal hit-and-run in the 4600 block of Turf Road on February 23.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at approximately 10:00 AM. Based on a report, Gonzalez was driving a vehicle when he veered off the road.
 
Subsequently, he hit a man and a woman who were on the road’s shoulder. He then left the scene, without giving aid to the victim.
 
As a result, the 34-year-old man and the 40-year-old woman suffered grave injuries and died in the incident. Officials did not yet release the victims’ identities, pending kin notification.
 
Police later Gonzalez on capital murder, assault causing bodily injury, and criminal mischief.
 
As of now, the officers are investigating the crash. In addition, no other details are available.
