Motorcyclist Adam Pearson Identified in Accident on 144th Avenue in Lubbock

 
LUBBOCK, TX (August 6, 2024) – The Lubbock Police Department identified 40-year-old Adam Pearson who suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle accident on 144th Avenue on July 23.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at University Avenue around 9:15 PM. Based on a report, Pearson was driving the motorcycle south on the road prior to the crash.
 
Behind him was 21-year-old Scarlett Gonzalez driving an SUV. Due to unknown reasons, the two collided in the intersection.
 
As a result, Pearson was seriously hurt in the incident. Emergency crews transported him to University Medical Center for treatment. There was no word on the condition of Gonzalez.
