Adam Ailand Struck and Killed by Vehicle on Highway Spur 503 in Austin

 
DENISON, TX (December 20, 2022) – The Denison Police Department identified 40-year-old Adam Ailand as the victim who died in a pedestrian accident on Highway Spur 503 on December 16.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened between Vine Lane and South College Boulevard just after 9:00 AM.
 
Based on a report, Ailand stopped his vehicle to retrieve items from the roadway. Subsequently, another vehicle came and struck him.
 
As a result, Ailand died in the incident.
 
Police said the driver stayed on the scene and cooperated with police.
 
As of now, the crash remains under investigation. However no other information has been released at this time.
