Abimael Marino Dead in Motorcycle Accident on Brookside Drive [Tyler, TX]

Abimael Marino Fatally Injured after Motorcycle Accident on Brookside Drive and WSW Loop 323

 
TYLER, TX (July 30, 2024) — A 22-year-old man identified as Abimael Marino, of Tyler, died in a motorcycle accident on Wednesday, July 17.
 
Tyler police said the accident happened at about 8:10 a.m. near the intersection of Brookside Drive and WSW Loop 323.
 
According to Tyler Police Public Information Officer Andy Erbaugh, Marino drove a motorcycle on WSW Loop 323. At the same time, a Volkswagen turned left onto Brookside Drive from the loop. The initial investigation determined that the vehicle turned in front of the motorcycle.
 
Marino suffered fatal injuries in the incident and died. Meanwhile, paramedics transported the driver of the vehicle to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
 
The investigation of the case is still underway.
