88-Year-Old Joe Rusk Identified in Fatal Tucson Car Crash

 
TUCSON, AZ (May 24, 2023) – Tucson police identified 88-year-old Joe Dean Rusk who died in a crash on North Oracle Road on May 17.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near West Wetmore Road around 8:30 AM. Based on a report, Rusk was driving a 1971 Chevrolet pickup truck near the intersection at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, he collided with a 2004 Ford F-250 pickup truck while making a left turn near West Wetmore.
 
As a result, Rusk sustained severe injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported him to a local hospital, where he later died.
 
The other driver, a 20-year-old woman, was not hurt.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
