CEDAR PARK, TX (December 29, 2024) – The Cedar Park Police Department identified 88-year-old Elisabeth Barker who died in a pedestrian accident on Royal Lane on December 16.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Lone Star Drive around 6:20 PM. Based on a report, Barker was walking in a dark, unlit section of the roadway, wearing dark clothing.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a pickup truck traveling south on Royal Lane struck her.
 
As a result, Barker suffered grave injuries and died in the incident.
 
The driver of the truck stopped immediately after the crash.
