DUVALL, WA (November 3, 2023) — An elderly man died following a pedestrian accident on Highway 203 at about 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 30.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, a vehicle struck an 80-year-old Duvall man crossing northbound Highway 203 at southbound 138th Street.
 
The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
The driver, a 30-year-old Monroe man, remained in a nearby Safeway parking lot after the accident.
 
Authorities closed Highway 203 for more than three hours while WSP investigated.
