Pedestrian Struck and Injured by Robert Lombardi in Novato
NOVATO, CA (December 15, 2022) – Novato Police arrested 74-year-old Robert Armond Lombardi after a hit-and-run on Main Gate Road on December 11.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at 3:03 PM. Based on a report, a woman had been walking on the road at the time of the crash.
Due to unknown reasons, Lombardi came and struck her. Then, the suspect fled the scene, without giving aid to the victim.
As a result, the victim suffered moderate to serious injuries in the incident. Paramedics transported her to the hospital for treatment.
An officer found a vehicle and located Lombardi. Lombardi was arrested for felony hit-and-run. NPD also found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, which drew a charge of possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia.
