Fatal Motorcycle Accident on FM 149 in Montgomery

 
MONTGOMERY, TX (November 9, 2023) – Officials confirmed that a 72-year-old man died in a motorcycle accident on FM 149 on October 23.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at FM 1375 shortly before 3:00 PM. Based on a report, the man was riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle through the Sam Houston National Forest.
 
Due to unknown reasons, he slammed into a silver Nissan Murano turning onto FM 149 from FM 1375. Troopers said the driver of the Nissan failed to yield the right of way.
 
As a result, the motorcyclist suffered grave injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported him to the HCA Conroe Hospital, where he later died.
 
The Nissan driver and a passenger were not hurt.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
