71-Year-Old Man Struck and Killed by Vehicles on Flamingo Road at Lindell Road in Las Vegas

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (November 28, 2023) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed that a 71-year-old man from Las Vegas died in an accident on Flamingo Road on November 19.
 
According to the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Lindell Road around 8:00 PM. Based on a report, the man was crossing in a marked crosswalk when a sedan struck him.
 
The impact caused him to fall onto the roadway. At that point, an SUV coming up from behind the sedan rear-ended the sedan. The SUV then ran over the man.
 
As a result, the man suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
The driver of the sedan, a 74-year-old man, and the sedan’s passenger, a 70-year-old woman suffered minor injuries.
 
Police did not suspect impairment as a factor in the fatal crash.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
