Two Die in High-Speed, Street Racing Accident on Magnolia Avenue in Fullerton

 
FULLERTON, CA (April 13, 2023) – The Fullerton Police Department confirmed that a 70-year-old pedestrian and a motorcyclist died in a high-speed accident on Magnolia Avenue on April 9.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Flower Avenue around 9:20 AM. Officers said it may be connected to an illegal street race.
 
An Audi and a motorcycle were both driving northbound on Magnolia at a high rate of speed when they crashed into a minivan that was making an eastbound turn onto Flower Avenue.
 
During the incident, the Audi plowed into a fence and into the side of a home, causing a gas leak. It also knocked over a telephone pole. A cyclist and a pedestrian were also involved.
 
The pedestrian, a 70-year-old woman, was found dead at the scene.
 
The 35-year-old motorcyclist was found with life-threatening injuries and was sent to the hospital where he later died.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
