70-Year-Old Man Injured in Pedestrian Accident on Bolling Drive [Novato, CA]

Pedestrian Struck, Hospitalized in Novato Accident on Bolling Drive

NOVATO, CA (August 18, 2022) – A 70-year-old man suffered major injuries after an incident of pedestrian accident on Bolling Drive on Saturday, August 13.

Authorities said in a report that they received a call of a man getting hit by a vehicle around 6:50 p.m. near Marin Valley Drive. The driver was heading west on Bolling Drive when the accident happened, police said.

The man suffered major injuries from the collision. Responding officers from the Novato Fire Protection District immediately conducted first-aid measures and transported the victim to a trauma facility for medical treatment.

It is unclear whether the driver sustained injuries, but he remained at the scene to help with the investigation. Officials also added that no alcohol or drugs were involved in the accident.

Authorities closed down Bolling Drive for around 4 hours while the investigation was ongoing.
