4-Year-Old Jaziel Coronado Identified in Fatal Rollover Accident in Pima County

 
PIMA COUNTY, AZ (July 8, 2024) – The Pima County Sheriff’s Department identified Jaziel Coronado who died in a UTV accident on Redington Road on June 9.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened around 12:30 PM. Based on a report, Coronado was riding in a two-seat, off-road vehicle without proper restraint.
 
Due to unknown reasons, the driver of the UTV failed to negotiate an embankment. Subsequently, the vehicle rolled over. Officers said the boy did not have a helmet on.
 
As a result, the boy suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
His mother who was also a passenger in the vehicle was not hurt.
 
A GoFundMe has been set up to help with the burial costs.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
