20-Year-Old Trenton Rose Arrested in High-Speed Crash on Highway 395 [Chewelah, WA]

Trenton Rose Runs from Authorities, Crashes into Car in Chewelah

 
CHEWELAH, WA (January 5, 2024) – Troopers arrested 20-year-old Trenton Nason Rose after a high-speed crash on Highway 395 on December 21.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened on the northbound side of the highway. Based on a report, Rose was driving a Honda Accord at a high rate of speed when a WSP trooper caught up to the car near West Half-Moon Road. Rose then went through a gas station to get away.
 
Subsequently, he re-entered the highway and the WSP unsuccessfully attempted to stop him. Authorities did not pursue the suspect as he continued to speed and drive erratically, almost causing multiple crashes. A Stevens County Sheriff’s Office deputy attempted to stop the car again but Rose continued to flee, attempting to pass other cars in the shoulder. At that point, the Honda hit another car and rolled into an embankment.
 
As a result, Rose and his two passengers suffered injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported them to the hospital for treatment.
 
Later on, authorities arrested and took Rose into custody on unknown charges.
