David Clark and Taj Sohi Identified in Fatal Head-On Crash in Benton County

 
BENTON COUNTY, WA (November 20, 2023) – A coroner identified 20-year-old Taj Sohi and 76-year-old David Clark of Prosser who died in a crash on 82 Freeway on November 13.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened near milepost 99. Based on a report, Clark was driving the wrong way at the time of the crash.
 
He was westbound in the eastbound lane of the freeway when he crashed into Sohi’s car head-on. The impact caused two other vehicles to crash into the rear of Sohi’s car.
 
As a result, Sohi and Clark sustained grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
Drivers from vehicles three and four were injured and transported to a nearby medical center.
 
Police said Clark was not wearing a seatbelt and was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
 
At this point, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
