Fatal Motorcycle Accident on Jasper Street in Aurora

 
AURORA, CO (July 18, 2023) – The Aurora Police Department confirmed that a 19-year-old man on died in a motorcycle accident on Jasper Street on July 6.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the collision happened at East Quincy Avenue around 1:00 PM. Based on a report, the victim was driving a motorcycle eastbound on Quincy Avenue prior to the crash.
 
At the same time, a 2003 Saturn Station Wagon was turning left from Jasper. Due to unknown reasons, the motorcyclist crashed into the vehicle.
 
As a result, the rider sustained grave injuries and died at a local hospital. Officials did not yet release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
The driver of the vehicle, a 51-year-old woman, and her daughter in the passenger’s seat were hurt in the crash. The driver suffered life-threatening injuries while the younger woman is in stable condition.
 
Police said speed is believed to be a factor in the wreck.
