MEAD, WA (August 2, 2023) – Officers identified 19-year-old Kenneth Brandenburg of Davenport, Washington who died in a bicycle accident on Highway 206 on July 20.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at Market Street at approximately 12:10 PM. Based on a report, the victim was riding his bicycle east on the highway at the time of the crash.
 
At the same time, a truck was turning onto the highway. Due to unknown reasons, the victim struck it on the passenger side.
 
As a result, Brandenburg suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
The truck left the scene but returned later.
