19-Year-Old Hayley Ramirez, Valisios Talarantas Killed in Crash on FM 624 [Corpus Christi, TX]

Hayley Ramirez and Wrong-Way Driver Valisios Talarantas Identified in Fatal Car Crash in Corpus Christi

 
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX (September 15, 2023) – Officials identified 19-year-old Hayley Ramirez of Robstown and 22-year-old Valisios Talarantas of Corpus Christi who died in a crash on FM 624 on August 31.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at approximately 11:15 PM. Based on a report, Ramirez was driving down FM 624 with her 1-year-old child prior to the crash.
 
At the same time, Talarantas was going westbound in the eastbound lanes of the highway. The manner of Talarantas’ driving caused his vehicle to crash into the driver’s side of Ramirez’s car.
 
As a result, Ramirez and Talarantas suffered grave injuries and died in the incident.
 
Crews took Ramirez’s daughter to Driscoll Children’s Hospital, where she remains in critical condition.
