19-Year-Old Diego Ordonez Hurt in Wenatchee Crash on Wenatchee Heights Road

 
WENATCHEE, WA (December 4, 2023) – Officials confirmed that 19-year-old Diego Hernandez Ordonez of Wenatchee is facing charges following a crash in the 1400 block of Wenatchee Heights Road on November 26.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at approximately 6:38 PM. Based on a report from the Wenatchee Sheriff’s Department, Ordonez lost control of his vehicle and collided with a tow truck moving in the opposite direction.
 
Subsequently, a third vehicle swerved but was hit by the tow truck’s towing receiver. After that, it veered off the road and into a ditch.
 
As a result, Ordonez required medical attention for his injuries at Central Washington Hospital. The driver of the tow truck also sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Fortunately, the driver of the third car was not hurt.
 
Ordonez is now facing charges of vehicular assault and driving without a valid operator’s license and insurance.
