19-Year-Old Anastasia Gray, 18-Year-Old Antownique Robertson, Xzavien Grimble Identified in Fatal Lufkin Crash, 17-Year-Old Tyler Lewis Arrested for DUI

 
LUFKIN, TX (December 20, 2022) – Police identified 19-year-old Anastasia Gray of Carthage as one of the three people who died in a crash on South First Street on December 17.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened in front of Ralph & Kacoos and Cotton Patch around 12:00 AM.
 
Based on a report, 17-year-old Tyler Christian Lewis of Jasper was driving a small Honda sedan when he made a sudden lane change. Subsequently, a Ford Bronco rear-ended his car, bringing it into the median before coming to an abrupt stop.
 
As a result, Gray, 18-year-old Antownique Robertson of Carthage and 20-year-old Xzavien Grimble of Jasper died at the scene. They were passengers in the Honda.
 
Two other passengers, 18-year-old Radaysha Jackson of Kirbyville and 19-year-old Reilly Brown of Carthage suffered critical injuries.
 
The driver of the other vehicle, 24-year-old Michael Allman of Lufkin, was not hurt.
 
Police took Lewis into custody after being treated and released from a local hospital. As of now, the crash remains under investigation.
