Abraham Hinojosa-Mercado Identified in Fatal Victorville Car Crash

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (February 28, 2023) – Officers identified 19-year-old Abraham Hinojosa-Mercado as the victim who died in a crash on Hesperia Road on February 25.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Ottawa Street around 10:00 PM. Based on a report, Hinojosa-Mercado was driving a silver Nissan Sentra near the intersection at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, he lost control and collided with another vehicle.
 
As a result, Hinojosa-Mercado suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
The driver of the other vehicle, 32-year-old Jose Gonzalez of Victorville, remained on the scene and cooperated with investigators.
 
As of now, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the case. In addition, no other details are available.
