18-Year-Old James Prada, Johnathan Guerrero Injured in Goliad Accident

 
GOLIAD, TX (July 31, 2024) – Officers identified 18-year-old James Prada and 20-year-old Johnathan Guerrero of Edcouch who suffered injuries in an accident on Pearl Street on July 14.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened Sunday night. Based on a report, Prada was driving a 2019 black BMW with Guerrero at over 100 miles an hour at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, he lost control and struck a power pole.
 
As a result, Prada and Guerrero sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported them to the hospital for treatment.
 
Police confirmed that about half of Goliad was without power after the crash.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
