17-Year-Old Noah Cavazos Struck and Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver in Delta County

 
DELTA COUNTY, TX (June 19, 2023) – The Delta County Sheriff’s Office identified 17-year-old Noah Cavazos who died in a hit-and-run on Farm-to-Market Road 1532 on June 5.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened in the 1800 block of FM 1532. Based on a report, the victim’s sister received a call from his phone around 6:40 AM and it was an officer who said that Cavazos died in an accident.
 
The caller said officers found the victim’s body on the road but the vehicle that hit him left the scene.
 
Officers are asking for anyone with information to call them. As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
