Teenager Dies in Apple Valley Rollover Crash near Blackfoot Road and Zuni Road

 
APPLE VALLEY, CA (December 21, 2022) — A boy died following a rollover crash on Blackfoot Road and Zuni Road on Tuesday afternoon, December 13.

The collision happened at about 3:40 p.m., according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.

Authorities said a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by a 17-year-old with a teen passenger in the vehicle, traveled southbound on the intersection of Blackfoot Road and Zuni Road.

For unknown reasons, the Silverado crashed and ended up flipping. As a result, the passenger ejected in the process.

The 17-year-old male passenger died at the Loma Linda Medical Center.

At this time, the condition of the teen driver is unknown.

The cause and factors behind the crash remain under investigation. No additional information is released at this time.
