17-Year-Old Drowsy Driving Leads to Head-On Car Crash on Endicott Road in Endicott

 
ENDICOTT, WA (October 3, 2022) – Paramedics airlifted a 17-year-old Diamond resident to the hospital following a head-on crash on Endicott Road.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened in the morning of September 21.
 
Based on a report, the victim was traveling westbound on Endicott when he fell asleep and drifted into the oncoming lane. Subsequently, it collided with a school bus head-on. Upon impact, the vehicle rolled over and landed on its roof.
 
As a result, the crash trapped the victim inside the car. Whitman County deputies and emergency crews from the Colfax, Endicott and Lacrosse Fire Departments responded to extract the teen. Crews airlifted him via Life Flight to a Spokane hospital for injuries to his arm. The driver of bus was not hurt in the incident.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
