16-Year-Old Nikhila Kodali, Meghana Kodali, Vanisri Yalamanchili Identified in Accident on Waller-Tomball Road in Harris County
HARRIS COUNTY, TX (September 30, 2022) – Police identified 16-year-old Nikhila Kodali as one the three victims who died in an accident on Waller-Tomball Road on September 25.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Kickapoo Road around 11:30 AM.
Based on a report, the Bellaire High School student was with her mother, Vanisri Yalamanchili, 53, and sister, Meghana Kodali, 20, in a Lexus LS 430 when the driver failed to stop at a four-way red blinking light. Subsequently, their vehicle struck a Chevrolet Silverado Dually.
As a result, Nikhila, Meghana, and Yalamanchili died in the incident.
The father driving the Chevy was not hurt while his two children suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation. At this time no further information is available.
