16-Year-Old Mariah Trujillo Identified in Fatal Arvada Crash on 70 Freeway

 
ARVADA, CO (October 16, 2023) – Officers identified 16-year-old Mariah Trujillo of Denver who died in a rollover crash on 70 Freeway on October 7.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash happened near 76 Freeway. Based on a report, Trujillo was a passenger in a vehicle that was traveling on the freeway at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, the driver of the car tried to switch highways at the last minute. The action caused the car to rollover. All passengers were ejected.
 
As a result, Trujillo sustained grave injuries and died in the incident.
