15-Year-Old Syniah Norvell Identified in Fatal Single-Car Accident in Austin

 
AUSTIN, TX (May 28, 2024) – The Austin Police Department identified 15-year-old Syniah Norvell who died in an accident on FM 969 on May 17.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash happened at the Ed Bluestein Boulevard northbound service road around 1:31 AM. Based on a report, Norvell was driving a vehicle on FM 969.
 
Police said the vehicle, which was carrying one adult and four juveniles including the driver, crashed at the intersection.
 
As a result, Norvell suffered grave injuries and died at the hospital.
 
One adult and three other children had minor injuries.
