15-Year-Old Pedestrian Struck and Injured by Hit-and-Run Vehicle on Highway 50 in Pueblo

 
PUEBLO WEST, CO (November 21, 2023) – Officials confirmed that a 15-year-old pedestrian suffered injuries in a hit-and-run on Highway 50 on November 15.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash happened at McCulloch Boulevard around 6:10 PM. Based on a report, the pedestrian was walking north across the eastbound lanes of Highway 50 at the time of the crash.
 
At the same time, officers believe a vehicle was traveling in the left-hand lane eastbound on the same highway. Due to unknown reasons, the SUV struck the pedestrian’s right leg with the front tire and fled the scene.
 
As a result, the pedestrian sustained serious bodily injury.
