15-Year-Old Boy Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Rankin Road [Houston, TX]

Teen Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Car on Rankin Road in Houston

 
HOUSTON, TX (November 16, 2022) – Police confirmed that a 15-year-old boy died in a pedestrian accident in the 700 Block of Rankin Road on November 14.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near Imperial Valley Drive around 7:30 PM.
 
Based on a report, the boy was crossing the street southbound at the time of the accident. Due to unknown reasons, an eastbound car hit him.
 
As a result, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the victim died in the incident. Officials have not released the identification on the young teen.
 
An assessment showed the vehicle had the right of way at that time.
 
However, HCSO officials are currently investigating the incident
