13-Year-Old Joshua Mora Struck and Injured by Hit-and-Run Motorcyclist in Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES, CA (April 10, 2023) – The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that 13-year-old Joshua Mora suffered injuries after a pedestrian accident on Whittier Boulevard on March 30.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Orme Avenue just before 3:30 PM. Based on a report, Mora, an eighth grader at Hollenbeck Middle School, was attempting to cross the street at the intersection at the time of the crash.
Due to unknown reasons, a motorcycle struck him. The collision caused the motorcyclist to slide approximately 80 feet before stopping but the rider got back on his bike and sped off.
As a result, the impact severed the teen’s right leg.
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
