12-Year-Old Boy Struck and Injured by Vehicle on Charleston Boulevard in Las Vegas

 
NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (March 24, 2023) Las Vegas police confirmed that a 12-year-old child suffered serious injuries in an accident on Charleston Boulevard on March 17.
 
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Lamont Street around 5:03 PM. Based on a report, the boy was riding a scooter across the crosswalk at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a 21-year-old woman from Las Vegas did not yield to the pedestrian’s right-of-way and struck him with a sedan.
 
As a result, the boy suffered life-threatening injuries. Paramedics transported him to an area hospital for treatment.
 
At this point, officers continue to investigate the case.
