12-Year-Old Girl Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Highway 375 [El Paso, TX]

Girl Struck and Killed by Vehicle on Highway 375 in El Paso

 
EL PASO, TX (November 30, 2022) – Police officers confirmed the death of a 12-year-old girl after a pedestrian accident on Highway 375 (Cesar E. Chavez Border Highway) on November 26.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near Fonseca Drive around 6:00 PM. Based on a report, the girl was crossing the roadway with her mother at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a pickup struck them both.
 
As a result, the girl died from severe injuries at a hospital. Officials did not yet release her name.
 
Fire and medical crews also took her mother to a hospital. Officers said she did not suffer any visible injuries. The victims were both listed from Hidalgo, Mexico.
 
The crash remains under investigation.
