Single Vehicle Involved in Fatal Rollover Crash on FM 1117 in Guadalupe County

 
GUADALUPE COUNTY, TX (March 6, 2023) – The Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that two people died in a fiery rollover crash on FM 1117 on March 2.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened in the early morning. Based on a report, a vehicle was traveling southbound on the road at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, it lost control, drove across the southbound lane, and rolled over. Subsequently, the vehicle proceeded to strike a tree before it caught fire.
 
As a result, both the vehicle’s driver and passenger died in the incident. Officials only described the passenger as an 80-year-old woman.
 
Officials will release the victims’ identities after kin notification.
 
As of now, officials continue to investigate the crash. In addition, no other details are available.
