PHOENIX, AZ (February 23, 2023) – Authorities confirmed that one person died in a rollover crash on Loop 202 on February 21.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Southern Avenue around 7:45 PM.
 
Based on a report, an SUV was traveling on the road, near the intersection at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, it lost control, rolled over, and landed on its roof.
 
As a result, one person in the vehicle suffered injuries and died in the incident. Officials did not yet release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
A second person had unknown injuries.
